WV Can’t Wait is proud to announce our Hometown Hero Awards!
In every West Virginia town, there are people who don’t have much but give everything they’ve got to help their neighbors. For their sacrifices, these “hometown heroes” almost never received the recognition or support they deserve. It’s time for that to change.
We are looking for 25 hometown heroes to award in 2022. They’ll each receive a $2,000 no-strings-attached award to support their work, as well as an offer of further help with fundraising, strategy, leadership training, media, and more.
